It's the most popular seat in the house - maybe because it's closest to the door, the most inconspicuous one in case of gastric emergencies, you want to pass notes to your friend about Betty Sue's new hairdo, or maybe you're just slightly afraid of that preacher man. . . whatever the reason, that plank of well polished wood in the back of the sanctuary is the best seat in the house!
